Crosstex Announces Retirement of Andrew Whitehead

Cantel Medical Corporation subsidiary, Crosstex International, Inc., today announced the retirement of Andrew Whitehead, effective August 1, 2017. Whitehead’s decision to retire will bring to an end a phenomenal 20-year career of continuous service with the Company.

Whitehead will transition to a part-time consultant role where he will continue to focus on the Company’s efforts to execute its aggressive acquisition strategy.

Whitehead has over 40 years’ experience and is a leader in the dental market. He joined Crosstex in 1996, and during his tenure, the Company saw substantial growth and his contributions to the Company have been highly instrumental to its success. He played an integral role advancing the Company’s acquisition strategy, most recently with DentaPure and Accutron transactions.

Whitehead was recently elected Chairman of the Organization for Safety, Asepsis and Prevention Foundation Board following his service as a member of the Board of Directors.  He is also a Board member of the Dental Trade Alliance Foundation (DTAF).  His dedicated involvement in both organizations has helped raise in excess of $2M to support and provide the ongoing awareness of infection prevention, education and the providing of dental care to the underserved community.  His involvement with these and other industry non-profit organizations has been and will continue to be an integral part of his future, both professionally and personally.
