AACD MEETING HIGHLIGHTS

The recent AACD meeting in Nashville was a resounding success!

Attendance levels reached a record high, with exhibit space and hotels reaching sell-out levels!
Attendees were treated to some of the very best dental lecturers, including: Doctors Peter Dawson; Dennis Wells; Marty Zase; Bill Dickerson; Michael Seseman; Bob Margeas; Robert Nixon; Newton Fahl; Bill Dorfman and many, many more.

There were a variety of “New Product Seminars”, including: “Trends in Professional Whitening”, sponsored by Discus Dental; “Advances in All-Ceramic Technology & Techniques”, sponsored by MicroDental Labs; “Clarifying the World of Cementation for Indirect Restorations”, sponsored by 3M Espe; “VIP Chart Documentation System”, sponsored by Jameson Management and again, many more.

There were great non-dental speakers also. The opening general session was a dynamic presentation by Frank Abagnale, whose story was told in his best-selling book “Catch Me if You Can”, later turned into a blockbuster film featuring Leonardo DiCaprio as Frank. This fascinating speaker, and his incredible story, provided a stimulating start to the meeting!

There were wonderful social opportunities as well, to “meet and greet”, including daily breakfasts, lunches and afternoon social events in the Exhibit Hall; a rollicking Opening Reception with great food and entertainment and an absolutely amazing fundraiser featuring the one and only Dolly Parton!

The 2005 AACD was billed as”Significant Science, Magnificent Art”and was indeed an excellent conference.

Mark your calendars now for next year’s “Pillars of Perfection” taking place May 16-20, 2006 in San Diego, CA. For more details, visit www.aacd.com
