Canadian Dental Hygienists Association Continues to Build Partnerships with Dental Industry

The Canadian Dental Hygienists Association (CDHA) is committed to working with its dental industry partners to build a stronger awareness and deeper understanding of the dental hygiene profession and to advocate
and promote oral health nationwide. As CDHA prepares for its upcoming national conference in Victoria, BC, October 2931, it celebrates its thriving partnerships with these corporations, which are global frontrunners in oral health care innovation and enlightened ambassadors for the profession.

Each year, CDHA welcomes a select group of dental industry firms into its Partners’ Circle dedicated to the advancement of the dental hygiene profession. CDHA’s Partners’ Circle is comprised of dental industry companies who understand and appreciate the important role that dental hygienists play as members of the oral health care team.

The 2015 CDHA Partners’ Circle is made up of seven dental industry leaders whose sponsorship levels range from bronze to gold. This year, our circle includes our gold-level partners: PHILIPS, Johnson & Johnson, SUNSTAR G•U•M, and Crest Oral-B. Colgate and DENTSPLY join the circle as our silver-level members, followed by Hu-Friedy at the bronze level. CDHA is honoured to recognize these dedicated dental industry partners and longstanding, respected members of its Partners’ Circle.

Serving the profession since 1963, CDHA is the collective national voice of more than 26,800 registered dental hygienists working in Canada, directly representing 17,500 individual members including dental hygienists and students. Dental hygiene is the 6th largest registered health profession in Canada with professionals working in a variety of settings, including independent dental hygiene practice, with people of all ages, addressing issues related to oral health.
