Ivoclar Vivadent Announces Executive Team Promotions

Robert Ganley, Chief Executive Officer for Ivoclar Vivadent, announced the promotions of several members of the organization’s North American executive team earlier this week.  They include Sarah Anders to Chief Operating Officer, Dr. George Tysowsky to Senior Vice President Technology & Professional Relations, Dr. Michael Gaglio to Senior Vice President Marketing and Digital Communication, and Pierre Lamoure to Senior Vice President Clinical Sales.

Sarah Anders, MBA, Chief Operating Officer

Sarah Anders has been promoted to the newly established position of Chief Operating Officer.   In addition to her leadership role of Senior Vice President of North American Sales, she will now be responsible for overall operations of Ivoclar Vivadent, Inc.  Anders is a member of the company’s International Advisory Team.  She oined Ivoclar Vivadent in 2003. Anders received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biochemistry from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, and graduated from Penn State University with her Master’s Degree in Business Administration. 

Dr. George Tysowsky, Senior Vice President Technology & Professional Relations

Dr. Tysowsky has been promoted to Senior Vice President Technology & Professional Relations.  Dr. Tysowsky will continue in his current role as head of R&D and will have a broader focus on Technology and Professional Relations both in North America and internationally.   He is also a member of the company’s International Advisory Team.  Dr. Tysowsky joined Ivoclar Vivadent in 1985.  He earned a D.D.S. degree from the University of Minnesota, School of Dentistry, and a Masters of Public Health from Minnesota’s School of Public Health. 

Dr. Michael Gaglio, Senior Vice President Marketing and Digital Communication

Dr. Michael Gaglio has been promoted to Senior Vice President Marketing and Digital Communication.  In addition to his responsibilities as leading North American Marketing, Dr. Gaglio will be responsible for all new digital communication initiatives.  Additionally, Dr. Gaglio has been invited to join the company’s International Advisory Team.  Dr. Gaglio joined Ivoclar Vivadent in 1999.  He is a graduate of SUNY at Albany and received his D.D.S. degree from the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery.

Pierre Lamoure, Senior Vice President Clinical Sales

Pierre Lamoure has been promoted to Senior Vice President Clinical Sales.  He will lead the growth of the Clinical Sales Organization under a sustained territory expansion plan.  Lamoure joined Ivoclar Vivadent in 1985 as one of six Clinical Territory Sales Managers in North America.  He was promoted to Western Regional Manager in 1990 and has served as Vice President – Sales – Clinical Products since 1997.
