Quantum Dental Technologies (QDT), creator of The Canary System®, announced today that Mr. William Fitzpatrick has been appointed CEO. Mr Fitzpatrick has 36 years of experience working with companies in the dental industry. He has held executive marketing and sales positions with industry leaders such as Siemens, J. Morita, Pelton & Crane and Henry Schein, Inc.
In 1994, Mr. Fitzpatrick founded Fitzpatrick Management Resources, a strategic planning and marketing consulting firm. As a dental industry consultant, he has worked with a broad spectrum of dental manufacturers, both domestic and international, and is best known for his ability to build high-performance teams and produce exceptional results. QDT is pleased to have Mr. Fitzpatrick join its management team.
The Canary System is the only evidence-based caries detection system that can detect and monitor caries across the entire spectrum of the disease process. Its ‘Energy Conversion Technology’ can detect and measure changes in the tooth structure due to caries or cracks. This allows The Canary to detect caries on all tooth surfaces including interproximal areas, around the margins of restorations and beneath opaque dental sealants. Bacterial porphyrins, stain and restorations which cause false positive readings with some of the fluorescence-based technologies do not affect any of the measurements done by The Canary System.
