Bluephase Style 20i: Ivoclar Vivadent Introduces New Curing Light

The high light intensity of up to 2,000 mW/cm2 in the Turbo mode is especially beneficial  for polymerizing indirect restorations. It enables short curing times starting from only 5 seconds and supports economic working procedures during everyday practice.

Especially suitable for indirect restorations
Depending on the material thickness, shade and opacity of an indirect restoration, the quantity of light reaching the luting composite can be significantly reduced. Especially for this indication, the high light intensity of Bluephase Style 20i is of decisive advantage. It ensures that enough energy penetrates the crown or inlay even with high-quality all-ceramic restorations made of, for example, IPS e.max or IPS Empress – for an adequate and reliable curing of the light- or dual-curing luting composite. The curing light offers a selection of four adjustable exposure times and two curing programs High Power (1,200 mW/cm2) and Turbo (2,000 mW/cm2) to match the indication. The settings can be selected using one hand only.

Now available in green and with more output
Simultaneously with the introduction of the Bluephase Style 20i, all the existing Bluephase Style curing lights are now offered with an increased light output from 1,100 mW/cm2 to 1,200 mW/cm2. In addition, the existing range of grey, blue and pink colours has been extended to include a green unit.
