New Delhi, April 9 — Spain based Biotechnology Institute I Mas D S.L. filed patent application for narrow dental implant and associated pieces. The inventor is Eduardo Anitua Aldecoa.

The international classification number is A61C8/00.According to the Controller General of Patents, Designs & Trade Marks, “The invention relates to a novel dental implant platform and to the associated pieces. The invention is characterised in that both the implant and the associated pieces have a reduced diameter such as to render same suitable for determined applications, in particular for the treatment of narrow bone crest areas.
