It is not unusual for dentist Dr. Gary Glassman (www.rootcanals.ca/www.drgaryglassman.com) to speak at the Society of Aesthetic Dentistry in Romania, or run a course called Train the Trainer in Prague. He is also involved as a professor in the new dental school in Kingston, Jamaica. 
The world-renowned oral health expert is founder of the Goodwill Oral Health Project which teaches dental students in poor communities around the globe the latest procedures to end oral health problems.
The native of Toronto, loved working at his dad’s sponge factory on weekends. Glassman observed how his father respected his employees, a trait he would carry with him. At university he studied health sciences. “Dentistry is about health and wellness and working with my hands.” “I like the challenge of solving patients’ problems.” In his office Dr. Glassman is sensitive to his patients and makes things as light as possible. “Imagine yourself being in that chair,” is what he tells his students.
