September 20, 2011 — A new pilot project at the University of Pacific‘s Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry has brought iPads into the school’s Main Clinic. Students are using iPads equipped with a special application that gives them a new way to communicate with patients, discuss oral health topics and dental procedures, and educate patients about the health of their mouths.
