Even dentists hate toothpaste tubes.  They aren’t very efficient which means they are wasteful.  They are also messy and sometimes hard to control. However, I think Designers Sang Min Yu and Wong Sang Lee are onto something here with their idea that they call Even dentists hate toothpaste tubes.  They aren’t very efficient which means they are wasteful.  They are also messy and sometimes hard to control. However, I think Designers Sang Min Yu and Wong Sang Lee are onto something here with their idea that they call “Save Paste“. It’s basically a disposable cardboard container in the shape of a wedge that is loaded from thin to thick.  You simply press the cardboard to remove all the paste (flattening much more easily that the current tube design). When you are done, you simply recycle the package.  Simple & efficient!  No word on when we can expect this better mousetrap… but I hope it’s soon.
