The month, the site was devoted the available evidence for OTC oral analgesics using typical single dose acute pain studies. What is clear is that there is adequate data for some drugs, but very little for the branded OTC combination analgesics. This may reflect the different times when they were introduced, but isn’t very helpful for the consumer weighing up promised extra effect against sometimes large differences in cost.
