The trend for the last three years has been for dentists to hold off on selling their practices if they’re ready for retirement as a result of the 2008 market “crash.” For many, they went from being financially able to retire to then needing a few extra years to recover from the market losses. This trend seems to be slowing and those who had held off are now hanging the “For Sale” sign once again.
