Apologies and mea culpa to Dr. H. Nowzari
An article appearing in: Compend Contin Educ Dent. 2010 Mar;31(2):154, 156-8,
160 passim written by Dr. Nowzari was inadvertently included in the Oral Health
blog without attribution. As well, the following was sent to Messrs. Angelini
and Perkins….we’re learning folks…….bear with us.

Dear
Tony,
It has
come to my attention that I have inadvertently copied an article that
originally appeared in Compendium,
March 2010,in the blog section of Oral Health Journal‘s website. As
Director of digital content for Oral
Health, I am learning the rules of
publishing as they pertain to blogging. Clearly, I have committed two cardinal
errors: First, I did not seek reprint permission from Aegis Communications; and
second, I did not include the author‘s name with the article. In no way
did I intend to imply that I was the article’s author.
I
apologize profusely for these errors and they will not be repeated. The article has been removed from the blog and again, Tony, let me apologize for my error and assure you
that this situation will not reoccur.
Respectfully,
Kenneth
S. Serota, DDS, MMSc
To our readers: We will find our way, hopefully with
your assistance re; commentary and areas of interest being expressed in
comments…….thanks……..
