It’s probably safe to say that most, if not all, dental practices these days have websites and are into dental SEO.
It’s perfectly understandable how seriously dental professionals are optimizing their website in many respects. After all, the competition among dental practices has reached new heights of intensity, and SEO does represent the best possible way of improving their websites’ visibility in organic search results.
While dental SEO work does require a fair amount of effort in keyword research and getting backlinks, let’s keep in mind that content marketing is just as important.
With content marketing, you are bound to create digital content that caters to the needs of your audience, and your dental SEO stands to benefit from it.
The fact that Google has been granting higher search results rankings to websites with quality content attests to the importance of content marketing in dental SEO. Quality content is indeed king, and it’s content marketing that’s going to produce and deliver them to your audiences.
There was a time when audiences had very little choice when it comes to content from brands marketing their products and services. When you have the right target keywords and phrases on hand, proceed to create content that will incorporate them. With those keywords in your content, your pages have a better chance of being found by users and serving their needs.
Putting up engaging blog posts would be a good start, that is if your dental practice website has a blog. Posts that discuss proper oral care and dental procedures make for useful reading as far as your audience is concerned.
How-to articles will also be incredibly useful. Use such articles to teach people how to floss correctly, make their teeth whiter naturally, or solve any other dental care-related issue.
If you have a thing for lists, create list posts that give your users multiple tips to keep their teeth cavity-free or their breath fresh for hours.
For even more engaging content, try publishing visual content like infographics and videos.
You can create your own quality content, or you can get the services of dental marketing professionals to do it for you. Either way, your dental practice website will have what it needs to rank high in the SERPs and get more visitors.
The best-case scenario, of course, is getting people to visit your dental practice. That is the ultimate goal, and a dental SEO strategy with a robust content marketing component will help get you there.
