Using simple instrumentation analogous to devices that ensure precision-machined tolerances, verify adequate tooth reduction during indirect restorative procedures. Never retake another impression or work with reduction copings again due to insufficient reduction.
Learn how to predictably and safely adjust interproximal contacts on all-ceramic restorations and polish the adjusted surface with an emphasis on fragile veneers that come back from the lab with contacts that are “too tight”. After mastering this technique, the ideal cementation technique and proper cement removal will be stressed.
Removal of composite overhangs without opening a contact can be a challenging situation. With the use of subgingival abrasive strips, learn how to correct overhangs of alloy, composite and ceramics with precision, preserving the proximal contacts.
Who Should Attend This Course:
Any dentist who practices restorative dentistry.
