Talking With Patients 101:Making Sense of Common Sense, The Art and Science of Mindful Communication

PROGRAM OUTLINE
To understand why we all behave as we do, we need to learn about the
neuroscience behind our actions so we can interact with everyone in our lives,
from patients to team members to friends and family, with awareness,
mindfulness and just a little more grace.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
By the end of the session, participants will be able to:
1. Define Patient Experience and mindful communication.
2. Identify and evaluate details that may be overlooked and emphasize
those things that work and understand better why they work, particularly
in dealing with conflict.
3. Engage in activities to develop and practice exceptional Patient
Experience skills.
