2018 was an exceptional year for Canadian dental events. Oral Health Group was in attendance for the three biggest meetings – Pacific Dental Conference (PDC), Ontario Dental Association’s Annual Spring Meeting (ODA ASM) and Journées dentaires internationales du Québec (JDIQ) – joining the other 38,550 dental professionals in Vancouver, Toronto and Montréal.
The shows gave a fantastic opportunity to walk the exhibit floors, featuring nearly 850 exhibitors between the events, and learn about new products, technology and innovations hitting or coming to the market. This was the chance for Canadian dental professionals to reach people in the market from their favourite and newly discovered companies.
In addition to the lively floor, the shows offered around 400 continuing education (CE) sessions discussing a wide range of topics: from balancing life and work, to practice management strategies, to new techniques worth trying. These sessions gave dental professionals an engaging and hands-on experience in their specialities, with world renowned speakers giving their best advice for success. While hearing from 330 speakers across the country, dentists were able to collect over 70 CE credits during Canadian dental meeting season.
It’s time to look ahead! While the biggest Canadian shows may be done for 2018, it’s never too early to look forward to the opportunities 2019 will bring to Canadian dental professionals. Check out the 2019 dates for PDC in Vancouver, ODA ASM in Toronto and JDIQ in Montréal.
