We will once again include some clever signage that will help you to navigate your way around the convention centre. This year on levels, one, two and three you will find the directional cubes (which are color coded for each level ) and the Conference at a Glance reader boards. New for 2011, we will be adding five Wayfinder Touch Screens. These interactive screens are a fabulous way to locate your session room or find the quickest route to your favourite exhibitor – be sure to give them a try.
Our New PDC App
All of you Blackberry and iPhone users out there can look forward to our new PDC App that will be launched just prior to the conference. The application will include a searchable database of exhibitors and their details with location maps, session schedules and facility information and maps. You can also keep updated on our latest Tweets for up to the minute conference information.

It’s Not All Business on the Exhibit Hall Floor

In between visits to our over 250 exhibiting companies be sure to enjoy the ‘fun stuff’. Return to the old days at the Pixstar Booth where you can take away a good old fashion photo strip. Go high-tech at SMARTpics – give the camera your best smile, enter your preferred social network information and your pictures are instantly uploaded to the network(s) of your choice. Due to its popularity in 2010 we have expanded the Oxygen Bar this year – stop by and get a boost to work your way through the extensive Exhibit Hall or unwind after a busy conference day. The Exhibit Hall opens on Thursday and Friday at 8:30am.
Life is too Short to Drink Bad Wine – Ninety Point Wines Edition takes place on Thursday, March 10 from 6:00pm to 7:30pm and is located on the 2nd Level Foyer overlooking the harbour. Tickets are $37.00 + tax. The Friday Night Social Event featuring Nearly Neil and the Solitary Band is scheduled from 6:45pm to 10:00pm in its standard Friday night spot. Tickets are a steal at $11.00+ tax!
Our second $11.00 event is the Saturday Morning Breakfast Session with Corner Gas star, and well-known Canadian comedian, Brent Butt. Enjoy a Continental Breakfast and some laughs as you get ‘Gassed up with Brent’!
