New President for Canadian Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry

Toronto–Wynford Dental Arts founder Dr. Ken Glick is the newly-elected President of the Canadian Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (CACD).

“My goal is to educate professionals and the general public on the benefits of cosmetic dentistry — from its positive impact on image and health to emotional well being,” said Dr. Glick.

Boasting 120 members from across Canada, the CACD is a non-profit organization representing dentists with an interest in cosmetic dentistry. The CACD promotes excellence by assisting dentists through education, innovation and the evolution of techniques. It also works with universities and other educational institutions to develop the curriculum in cosmetic dentistry.

Dr. Glick has practiced dentistry at Wynford Dental Arts for 35 years. He is the founder of the Toronto Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (TACD) and served as its President for seven years.

Dr. Glick was recognized in 1989 when the AACD awarded him Accredited status. In 1991, the organization bestowed Fellowship status to Dr. Glick. He is one of only two Canadians to have achieved this highest level of recognition and among 35 dentists worldwide to receive this special honour.
