New Training Clinic at University of Toronto

by University of Toronto

The Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Toronto recently opened its new state-of-the-art clinic at 777 Bay St. The more than $7M project has created a beautiful 15,000 square foot clinic featuring 41 enclosed operatories that will enhance the patient experience and enrich clinical education.

It is well located for patients to access it on the subway line at Yonge and College Streets and offers a modernized space where the Faculty’s third and fourth-year students will be carrying out much of their clinical care training.

As an essential addition to the Faculty’s clinical operations, which spans all ten dental specialties and hosts approximately 260 chairs throughout the Faculty at 124 Edward Street, the clinic is a representation of the future of the Faculty. It will also serve as a swing space for upcoming renovations planned for 124 Edward St.  “As Canada’s first, largest and most comprehensive dental school, building a modernized clinic with state-of-the-art facilities will be a great benefit for our patients and our students. It is what is expected of us at U of T”, says dean, Daniel Haas.
