As President of the Ontario Dental Association, it is my great pleasure to welcome you to the 143rd edition of the ODA’s Annual Spring Meeting (ASM).
Each year, thousands of dentists – myself included – and their teams converge in downtown Toronto to attend this signature event. It is no wonder that the ASM is one of the top dental meetings in North America; the breadth and calibre of speakers and exhibitors make it an extraordinary program, and one not to miss!
The ASM brings together members from across the province and offers them an experience that is both educational and entertaining: access to presentations by top specialists and lecturers from the United States and Canada; more than 250 exhibits featuring leading-edge dental products; and, best of all, a chance to network and socialize with thousands of fellow dental professionals. This year, the ASM Exhibit Floor will incorporate a new feature, the New Products Forum, which allows attendees to get hands-on demonstrations of the latest in dental products and technology. This is just one example of how hard our group of volunteers and staff work to make the ASM a world-class event.
As always, the goal of the ASMis to provide a convenient and pleasant venue for you and your team to expand your clinical and practice knowledge, gain continuing education credits and learn from the best minds in the industry. We hope that the ASM is a team-building and team-learning experience that will prove valuable to your practice.

The exhibit floor for 2010 will host 575 booths to over 275 exhibiting companies. These companies will be presenting the latest in dental products and services of interest to the dental team.
The 2010 Annual Spring Meeting Exhibit Floor will incorporate an innovative educational feature for the first time in May – The New Products Forum. This product demonstration centre will allow attendees the opportunity to learn about new products which have been on the market for less than two years – many of the demonstrations will be hands-on and interactive.
The format will offer four hour long sessions which are run simultaneously. Each presentation will be given twice-once on each day. Make a point of checking out the line-up of the latest in the dental field at the New Products Forum – at the back of the ODA Exhibit Floor.
