One Toronto driver was living in the future this week after they were caught driving down a highway in autopilot. However, the OPP have charged the driver with careless driving after they were discovered to be flossing their teeth with both hands instead of paying attention to the road.
The OPP reported on Wednesday, January 8, 2020, that they had charged a 58-year-old motorist with careless driving after catching the driver flossing their teeth behind the wheel while using their car’s autopilot function.
OPP Sgt. Kerry Schmidt wrote that officers had pulled over a blue Tesla Model S sedan near Oakville that was going 135 kilometres per hour.
