We are pleased to announce the appointment of Danielle Griffin to the role of Executive Director of AboutFace, effective June 12th, 2017.
Danielle has a personal and direct connection to AboutFace, and is passionate about making a difference in the facial difference community.
Danielle has more than 10 years of experience advancing positive social impacts through work in the charitable sector and governmental commissions. After being a member of the research and administrative staff of the Confidential Committee of the Commission to Inquire into Child Abuse in Ireland in 2007 and 2008, Danielle returned to Canada where she has worked with various charities focusing on social services and healthcare. Progressively more senior roles with Maytree, Heart & Stroke Foundation, Warden Woods Community Centre, CNIB, and Hope Air have helped advance her charitable sector experience. She has supported and progressed the causes of diverse communities across Canada through her fundraising, program development and management, marketing and communications, and community engagement work.
