ADA Meeting to Hold Special Focus on Women

March is National Women’s History Month, which makes it a good time to announce that October’s ADA annual meeting will also include a special focus on women.

“This is the year of the woman,” said past president of the American Dental Hygienists Association Kelli Jaecks, who will present two courses, including one called Martinis and Menopause: Implications for Women’s Health, at the annual meeting.

It’s appropriate, Ms. Jaecks added, that the ADA was shining a spotlight on women, considering the large numbers of women graduating from dental schools.
