Some Alberta dentists are concerned about the low number of patients taking advantage of the new Canada Dental Benefit program, according to Global News. The benefit program was created to assist with dental costs for low-income families making less than $90,000 a year.
Approximately 100,000 children have been helped since the program was implemented but some dentists believe there is not enough awareness or clarity on the eligibility requirements.
