Imagine filling a cavity without a drill in a process that is not only less invasive, but prevents future decay. Hetal Desai, a PhD student in pediatric dentistry, is researching a way to make this possible.

Desai aims to develop a low-viscosity resin with anti microbial properties to restore early carious lesions without the need for drilling. She is working under the supervision of professor Yoav Finer 0T0 PhD, 0T3 MSc Prostho who holds the George Zarb/Nobel Biocare Chair in Prosthodontics.
