Hanien Al-Faisal from the Faculty of Odontology at the University of Umeå, Matin Farzad from the Faculty of Odontology at Malmö University, Moa Rask from the Faculty of Odontology at the University of Göteborg, and Willem de Lange from the Department of Dental Medicine at Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm have received the titles of the Best Dental Students and they will be awarded at this year’s Swedish Dental Exhibition (Odontologisk Riksstämma & Swedental) on Wednesday, November 16th.
It is with great pleasure that Dentatus is able to award the prizes and stipendium to these students. All dental students have the ability to be nominated for this award, these 4 students have been chosen by their universities due to their dedication to go above and beyond their instruction, each in their own way. The winners were selected by their professors who have monitored their progression during their studies. Dentatus is honored to award prizes and stipendium to these outstanding future dentists.
Since 1989, Dentatus AB awards the top student from each of the four dental universities in Sweden. In 2020, the prize has changed its name to The Bernard Weissman/Dentatus Student Achievement Award in honor of the company’s former president, Mr. Bernard Weissman. Mr. Weissman was renowned as an inventor of dental products, instruments, and techniques whose focus was always the development of affordable solutions that would benefit both dentists and patients.
