COVID-19 Guidance: Antigen Point-of-Care Testing

May 7, 2021

The Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care has amended the Laboratory and Specimen Collection Centre Licensing Act, 1990 to allow some healthcare workers, including dentists, to perform Antigen Point-of-Care Testing (Antigen POCT) for COVID-19. RCDSO has produced COVID-19 Guidance: Antigen Point-of-Care Testing for dentists who are considering performing Antigen POCT in their practice for patients.
