The RCDSO advises that all dentists in Ontario should continue to use enhanced precautions at all times in the dental office. There are growing concerns about the potential for a new wave of COVID-19 as variants of the virus begin to spread in the community. To address these concerns the guidance published on January 14, 2021, responding to the Stay at Home order, remains in effect.
Patient safety is our number one concern. Throughout the pandemic we have seen dentists in Ontario working to maintain high standards of care under difficult conditions. This has helped to keep patient confidence strong.
