Dentists Advised Non-Urgent, Elective Services Remain Suspended in Manitoba

As Manitoba begins to ease restrictions on non-urgent surgery and diagnostic procedures and therapeutic and medical services on Monday, the Manitoba Dental Association is strongly advising its members that all in-person non-urgent and elective dental services should remain suspended until further notice, according to the head of the association.

“The Manitoba Dental Association wants to phase in a slow re-introduction of dental services in Manitoba,” said Dr. Marc Mollot, MDA President. “Just like our medical counterparts in the hospitals, we want to re-introduce dental services in a staged fashion. It will be a careful and calculated re-introduction.”
