On February 13, the Government of Canada announced that the interim Canada Dental Benefit has now helped over 200,000 children have a healthier mouth.
The benefit has been providing parents and guardians with the financial support needed to take their children to an oral health professional.
“The Government of Canada continues to work on a comprehensive, long-term Canada-wide dental care program to make quality oral health care within reach for families who need it most,” Health Canada reports.
