Manitoba Dentists Will Expand Services as Part of Phase 2

The Manitoba Dental Association has announced the expansion of available dental services beginning June 1 as part of the provinces Phase 2 plan.

Dr. Marc Mallot, president of the Manitoba Dental Association, said in a press conference Wednesday that the association has been working closely with the province to safely lay out plans for full-service dental practice. The plans include the extensive use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as well as in-office strategies to arrest the potential spread of COVID-19.

“Dentists may need a few days to get organized and get their teams going,” he said. “We are asking Manitobans to be patient.”
