Marion Par-Weixlberger Appointed New Vice President of Corporate Communications & Public Relations at Dentsply Sirona

Marion Par-Weixlberger can draw on a wealth of experience as a communications expert in the dental industry and specifically with Dentsply Sirona. Marion Par-Weixlberger started working as PR Manager at Sirona in 2012, subsequently becoming Senior PR Manager, in which capacity she manpaged the market leader’s Corporate and Product PR. On December 1, 2016 Par-Weixlberger was named Director of Public Relations and Corporate Communications at Dentsply Sirona, which formed through a merger in February 2016. Since then she has successfully managed internal and external Corporate Communications on the global level.

Marion Par-Weixlberger is based in Salzburg (Austria) and is supported by a globally active team located in the US, Germany and Salzburg.

A native of Austria, Marion Par-Weixlberger studied Communication Sciences at the University of Salzburg; after graduating she worked for several prestigious, globally active PR agencies. In 2011 she won the Austrian National Public Relations Award in the category “PR special discipline awarded by the Public Relations Association of Austria (PRVA)”.

Marion Par-Weixlberger has extensive experience in specialized fields of communication, including for example Change Communications, Crisis Communications and Product PR. Marion Par-Weixlberger’s important contribution to internationalizing communications at Sirona was recognized with a FOX AWARD in two categories for the Sirona customer magazine VISION in 2015, and a nomination for the Public Relations “Staatspreis” (Austrian National PR Award) in 2013. In 2016, a further nomination followed for the European Excellence Award in the Crisis Communications category; in 2016 the Dentsply Sirona employee newspaper was nominated for the Ragan 2016 Employee Communications Awards and in 2017 it won a bronze Stevie Award. Dentsply Sirona was nominated in 2017 for the PR Report Award for its customer magazine DSIGN, and in 2018 for the Sabre Award; in 2018 the magazine was honored with two prestigious awards: the German Stevie Award in gold and the Econ Award in silver.
