Maxim Software Systems (MaxiDent), through close collaboration with the Canadian Dental Association (CDA), is integrating the CDA Secure Send service platform into its practice management suite effective immediately.

CDA Secure Send meets the legal obligation to safeguard the confidentiality of patient data. It is a quick and secure solution to send private and confidential patient information as an electronic document. CDA Secure Send also leverages existing infrastructure and certificates to allow security and flexibility in bi-directional communication.

The integration will enable dentists to send out encrypted messages and attachments, such as referral letters, X-rays and other images, with speed and ease to patients, peers and anyone deemed necessary. Additionally, dentists can conveniently receive incoming encrypted messages from their peers.

CDA Secure Send is dentists’ preferred method of transferring patient data electronically. It is connected to CDA’s directory of dentists, where senders can search for dentists by name, specialty or location.
