In early 2019, Canadians were asked to nominate a dental hygienist for the Canadian Dental Hygiene Superhero contest.
The second annual event measured candidates by “client focus, social responsibility, leadership, integrity, respect and transparency.” Nominators were invited to write about their candidate and submit the entries to the Canadian Dental Hygienist Association (CDHA).
From the 856 nominations – representing every province and territory in Canada – the dental hygienist (RDH) awarded the title of Canada’s Dental Hygiene Superhero is Dianna Major, RDH, owner and operator of Dental Magic Hygiene Studio in Lower Sackville, NS.
