Mother Whose Tooth Crumbled Due to Chemo Wants Free Dental Care for Cancer Patients

A mother whose tooth started crumbling as a result of chemotherapy has started a campaign for free dental care for cancer patients.

Michele Solak-Edwards, 56, was ‘completely floored’ after being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2016 and had to undergo extensive treatment, affecting her teeth.

In the end she had to give up her job as a HR manager because of her health, leaving her family struggling financially.

Adding to the pressure, Michele, from Flixton, Greater Manchester, then had to fork out more than £100 to fix her crumbling tooth.
