ADA Conference on Genetics in Dentistry

In October, the American Dental Association (ADA) will host a first-of-its kind meeting about the current issues involved in genetic testing and the expectations for genetics in dentistry.

Dental practitioners and leaders of professional dental organizations are encouraged to attend the upcoming conference, currently scheduled for October 28-29, at the Association Headquarters in Chicago, Illinois.

The purpose of the conference is to develop guidance that can be used to inform and access the design and analysis of genomic studies of oral diseases. The Task Force on Design and Analysis in Oral Health Research is funding the conference, along with the ADA.

Registration for the conference is expected to open in August. To view the most up-to-date agenda for the conference, visit taskforceondesign.org, under the section for Navigating the Sea of Genomic Data.
