American Dental Association Opens Online
Registration for 147th Annual Session in Las Vegas

Sir Richard Branson, Ted Koppel Session’s Distinguished Series Speakers

CHICAGO, April 12, 2006 — Online registration is now open for the American Dental Association’s (ADA) 147th Annual Session and Marketplace Exhibition at Las Vegas’ Mandalay Bay Resort and Convention Center, from Oct. 16 to Oct. 19.
Early registration is encouraged for the annual event, which brings together leaders in dental practice, research, academics and industry to present more than 300 Scientific Sessions over four days. More than 75% of sessions are free with registration. They include lectures, hands-on workshops and special conferences, with the goal of providing attendees with current and useful information for immediate use in their practices.

Registered attendees receive free entry to ADA General Sessions and the ADA’s Distinguished Speaker Series Oct. 17 and 18, sponsored by Johnson & Johnson Oral Health Products. Sir Richard Branson and former television anchor Ted Koppel are this year’s distinguished speakers. Sir Richard, chairman of the worldwide Virgin Companies and adventurer, will share his perspectives on success globally. Ted Koppel, the 42-year veteran of ABC News, will share his experiences on global issues through the eyes of a newsman. Koppel is now managing editor for The Discovery Channel and a contributor to the New York Times and National Public Radio.

ADA Marketplace Exhibition features thousands of products, services.
Also included with registration is entry into the ADA Marketplace Exhibition, which will open October 17-19 and feature over 700 exhibitors, offering thousands of products and services from leading dental dealers and manufacturers. It also offers a New Product Showcase, continuing education credits at the Marketplace Theater, contests, give-aways and special show discounts.

New this year will be Satellite Symposia presented by dental manufacturers on Oct. 15 that will feature their latest research and educational programs.
