American Dental Association’s 23rd New Dentist Conference in Miami

Distinguished speakers are slated to discuss oral health issues currently before Congress and their impact on the dental profession as well as clinical and practice issues at the American Dental Association (ADA) 23rd New Dentist Conference at the Hyatt Regency in Miami April 30 to May 2.

Dentists are invited to join the ADA Committee on the New Dentist for a weekend of networking, continuing education and camaraderie at a conference that caters to the unique needs of new dentists—dentists who have been in practice less than ten years. Each clinical, professional issue and practice management course is hand-selected by the ADA’s Committee on the New Dentist. Attendees will have the opportunity to earn continuing education credits in courses geared to assist those who are working to strengthen their clinical and practice knowledge so that they can better achieve personal and professional success.

Topics offered at this year’s New Dentist Conference cover a wide range of issues from the science of dentistry to the business of dentistry such as a cone beam imaging, soft tissue lesions of the oral cavity and how to run a dental practice. Attendees can earn up to 11 credit hours and have the opportunity to participate in special programming from the ADA-Pankey Education Connection including hands-on workshops to be conducted at The Pankey Institute.

The ADA-Pankey Education Connection is a joint collaborative programming initiative from the ADA and the L.D. Pankey Dental Foundation to develop new content for presentation at venues such as dental meetings, online continuing education courses, podcasts and more. The content is designed to support the needs of new dentists.
