Celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Denturists Profession in Canada in conjunction with the 2011 Annual General Meeting of Members, Convention-Educational Symposium & 9th Annual CAD Golf Tournament
This year’s Annual General Meeting and Conference is being held May 25th to 28th at the exquisite Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel in Banff Alberta ~ the Castle in the Rockies! A beautiful 1½ hours drive from Calgary and a million miles away from your daily grind!
There’s something for everyone in Banff – from relaxing and rejuvenating at the Willow Stream Spa in the Hotel, to golfing, mountain and road biking, trail rides, white water rafting, rock climbing, fishing, hiking, sightseeing and shopping, there is something for everyone in Banff. In your leisure time, visit their indoor lap pool, outdoor heated swimming pool, whirlpool, steam
room or exercise facility. We hope everyone enjoys this wonderful part of Alberta and the freedom to choose extracurricular activities.
This year there is an unprecedented 28 Continuing Competency Courses to choose from at the educational symposium, being held over the three days of Wednesday through Friday, May 25th – 27th.
The 9th Annual CAD Golf Tournament will be held on the afternoon of Wednesday May 25th, at the Fairmont Banff Springs Golf Course with its renowned panoramic beauty.
In conjunction with the education symposium on Thursday and Friday, will be the Exhibitors Showcase. Additionally on Thursday evening, will be the ever popular Wine & Cheese Reception in conjunction with the Exhibitors Showcase; this year being held in a truly wonderful location ~ the Cascade Ballroom and Conservatory.
Come join your colleagues and their spouses, friends and the exhibitors for what is traditionally a great evening. (Don’t forget to bring your shopping list of supplies & equipment also, and take advantage of the usual great convention deals also!)
This year’s Annual CAD Convention Dinner (& Dance) will be a special one, with a celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Profession. Some presentations will be conducted, and there is a live band to dance to after the dinner. The Dinner and Dance are being held the evening of Friday May 27th with a dress code of business ~ semi¿formal.
Finally, the CAD Annual General Meeting of Members will be held on Saturday May 28th.
