SOCIAL EVENTSPresident’s Welcome ReceptionAAED President Dr. Richard Simonsen will be welcoming guests to DC on Thursday, August 8th at the off-site President’s Welcome Reception at the Newseum. Don’t miss this opportunity to reconnect with old friends and meet new guests while enjoying an experience that blends five centuries of news history with up-to-the-second technology and hands-on exhibits. All exhibits will be open during the President’s Welcome Reception as AAED takes over the entire space. You will be treated to fantastic food by Wolfgang Puck Catering and get an all access pass to the hottest museum in DC. Transportation will be provided to the venue for all registered AAED attendees.
Gala DinnerThis black-tie optional affair will take place on Friday evening, August 9th at the Ritz-Carlton, Washington, DC. An elegant dinner followed by dancing the night away is sure to make this an unforgettable evening.
SILENT AUCTIONAAED will hold the 7th annual Silent Auction during the 38th Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C. All of the proceeds we raise through the silent auction will be dedicated to expanding the quality and quantity of our educational programming.
Items such as electronics, photography, travel packages, dental packages, artwork, gift cards, high-end wine selections, jewelry, memorabilia or your own products or services may be donated. By donating an item, you’ll be making a contribution that will help AAED continue to advance the educational mission.
