A recent study published in April found that a significant proportion of dental bib clips harbor bacteria from the patient, dental clinician and the environment even after the clips have undergone standard disinfection procedures. The webinar will present these and other research findings, as well as actionable steps dental professionals can take to enhance their infection control practices and prevent the risk of cross contamination from dental bib clips.

“Our market research shows that 1 out of 5 dental offices are not cleaning their bib clips at all or waiting until the end of the day to clean them,” said Stacey Williams, director of marketing at DUX Dental. “Six research studies and reports in the U.S. and overseas have found bacterial contamination on dental bib holders even after disinfection. If dental practices aren’t using a disposable holder or autoclaving their bib clips they could be exposing patients and themselves to undue risk.”
The webinar will specifically address:
