Heraeus Celebrates Fifth Year as Sponsor of Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity

Heraeus Kulzer, LLC, the worldwide leader in dental esthetics, recently celebrated its fifth year as a sponsor of the Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity. Founded in 1907, Alpha Omega is one of the oldest and largest international dental organizations and has over 5,000 members.

For over 100 years, Alpha Omega has embraced the following values:

• Helping those in need, caring, and repairing the world.

• Family and friendship.

• Learning and education and creating opportunities for students.

The Alpha Omega Foundation helps fund a wide variety of dental-related causes in the United States, Israel and other countries. Historically, two of the largest recipients have two Israeli dental schools founded by Alpha Omega: The Hadassah School of Dental Medicine at Hebrew University in Jerusalem, and The Goldschleger School of Dental Medicine at Tel Aviv University. Recently, the Foundation’s thrust has also been targeted at Alpha Omega’s Global Oral Health Initiative, which has produced aid in faraway places such as Tblisi, Haiti, and Guatemala.

Each year, Heraeus makes unconditional grants to the Alpha Omega Foundation and supports the organization’s annual educational convention with training webinars and videos.

“Alpha Omega’s focus on dental research, education and care for the less fortunate mirrors the philosophies that our company and employees have lived by for many years,” said Christopher Holden, president of Heraeus Kulzer, LLC. “We both share and salute Alpha Omega’s spirit of voluntarism and philanthropy, and we are pleased and proud to be able to help support their noble efforts.”
