Common interests and perspectives brought together a host of women in dentistry at the 4th Women’s Dental Conference, presented by Clinical Research Dental.
In a relaxing and intimate setting, this immersive event served as a means to refresh the ladies’ passion for dentistry while addressing topics relevant to their practice (such as successful endodontics and better aesthetics) as well as issues pertaining specifically to women’s health and wellness including stress reduction, hormonal balance and optimal ergonomics along with financial planning. The choice of dynamic, high-energy speakers enabled an inspiring information flow, resulting in new plans for office treatments; ideas for future staff meetings; and in some instances a new diet or lifestyle change.
The White Oaks Resort and Spa in Niagara-on-the-Lake was an ideal, destination for a women’s getaway weekend. The conference also provided plenty of free time allowing the attendees to explore the region; take in a wine tour; see a play, break the bank at the brand new outlet mall, or potentially get lucky at Casino Niagara. The bonding portion of the conference kicked off with a cocktail party that included “minute to win it” style challenges. It was a great way to break the ice and provided an early opportunity to build connections as well as mingle with the speakers.
All attendees had plenty to smile about by the end of their weekend with many thought provoking and inspiring takeaways, not to mention a considerate goodie bag.
