Update: Alpha Omega Dental Centre for Geriatric Care at Baycrest

Following five years of planning, construction has begun on the Alpha Omega Dental Centre for Geriatric Care at Baycrest. Scheduled to open in early 2018, this state of the art clinic will be a treatment facility, training facility, resource and research facility, for the dental care of our elderly, physically and medically compromised and cognitively impaired population. The Toronto Chapter of the Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity has raised over $1.5 million dollars and now with generous assistance from Henry Schein this premier clinic is soon to be a reality. Many thanks to our generous individual donors, corporate sponsors (including TD Bank and Dental Corp. Nobel Biocare), dental societies and study clubs (North Toronto Dental Society, Toronto Crown and Bridge Study Club) who have helped to bring this project to fruition. Even the undergraduate Alpha Omega Pi chapter at the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry nobly raised funds for this legacy clinic. A grand opening event is being planned for April to unveil this gift to the community. Further details will follow.

Completion contributions are still needed and welcomed. Please contact Mr. Ian Leventhal for information at 416-785-2500 ext. 3396.
