Even 5 years ago, our survey data showed patients visited their dentist because they were following a routine — they were there for their regular checkup, a procedure most commonly paid for by some one else (the employer).
Today, is routine still a big motivator to visit the dentist?
Not according to our surveys. And not according to a large American survey of adults conducted by the insurer WellPoint.
