With event notifications from as far afield as Australia and Pakistan and Cambodia and Chile, early figures suggest wide outreach for the World Oral Health Day 2016 campaign among FDI members, dental students and private practitioners.
The messages really hit home in South-East Europe, with the first written reports to FDI coming from Greece, F.Y.R. Macedonia, Albania, Bosnia and Hercegovina, and Montenegro. In addition, reaching over 50 million people on social media (mainly on Twitter and Facebook) means that the WOHD messages are reaching a wider public.
