Zahn Dental Named Dental Laboratory Supplier of The Year

Zahn Dental, the dental supply and laboratory division of Henry Schein, Inc. (NASDAQ: HSIC), the world’s largest provider of health care products and services to office-based dental, animal health and medical practitioners, announced that it received the National Association of Dental Laboratories’ (NADL) Supplier of the Year Award. Zahn was recognized for its unique business approach and commitment to giving back to the dental laboratory technology industry.

“It is a tremendous honor to receive this prestigious award from NADL, a national dental laboratory advocate, educator and professional association that has the highest standards for membership and service and that shares our company’s mission and values,” said Rita Acquafredda, General Manager and Vice President, Zahn Dental. “Through innovation in dental laboratory technology, educational support for dental technicians and a commitment to helping dental laboratories grow and sustain their businesses, we look forward to continuing to find new ways to be an important advisor to dental laboratories and NADL.”

Becoming a member in 1982, Zahn Dental has partnered with NADL for more than thirty years, championing the interests of individuals and businesses in the commercial dental laboratory industry by promoting the professionalism of dental technicians, supporting high standards in dental laboratory technology and encouraging fellowship between members.

“Zahn Dental is to be commended for its exemplary support of the industry, diligently working to foster the role of the dental technician and dental laboratories within the dental care team,” said Gary Iocco, NADL President. “Its reputation as a strong contributor to dental technician professional education organizations, including the Foundation for Dental Laboratory Technology, its remarkable drive and accomplishments as a provider of laboratory business solutions and its continual push to bring state-of-the-art technology to market has had an exceptionally positive impact on the dental laboratory community. The NADL unreservedly applauds Zahn Dental.”

Since 1952, NADL has provided a national platform for advancing the dental laboratory technology industry through advocacy, education, high standards and service, helping support and meet the technical, educational, professional and business needs of dental laboratories.
