Ivoclar Vivadent Files Patent Suit Against Dentsply and DeguDent GmbH

Ivoclar Vivadent, makers of IPS e.max® products, announced today that they have filed a patent-infringement lawsuit in the United States District Court for the District of Delaware against Dentsply International Inc., Dentsply Prosthetics, and DeguDent GmbH. Ivoclar Vivadent asserts that Dentsply’s CeltraTM products infringe four patents issued in the United States covering lithium-silicate technologies that Ivoclar Vivadent developed.  Ivoclar Vivadent considers this technology and the patents protecting this technology very valuable and will remain resolute and active in enforcing its patents.
