Vident is pleased to announce that Stephen Moore has been promoted to Director, North American Lab Sales. Most recently, Moore held the position of Vident Regional Sales Manager for Canada before being tapped for the director role. In his new position, Moore is responsible for the recently created North America Lab Sales Team, which combines both the Canadian and U.S. outside sales team.
“Stephen has created a strong, sustainable, and successfully talented sales team across the Canadian region,” says Fred Ketcho, CEO of Vident. “His successful leadership in Canada gives me confidence in the success of this new team strategy.”
The goal of the new sales team is to create synergies and a cooperative approach to achieving collective sales, marketing, technical and educational goals and objectives. “The North America Lab Sales Team will have the opportunity to share best practices and target corporate accounts that transcend borders,” says Moore.
Before joining Vident in 2006, Moore owned a web development, hosting and consulting organization and also worked for United Parcel Service in a variety of strategic business and marketing roles. His industry experience includes extensive lab and business development, educational program development for dentists, doctors and labs, marketing connections with Canadian industry publications and the creation of a Canadian dealer distribution strategy.
“Stephen has built and implemented solid customer relationships and support programs, most recently through the rollout of our compelling tooth channel management program launched in early 2013, and through continued customer educational curriculum and programs, exhibiting the necessary leadership in this critical area,” says Ketcho.
Moore received his degree in Business Administration from Mount Royal College in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and holds a Canadian Association of Customs Brokers Qualifying License.
